Our Indian distributor partner, Complete Instrumentation Solutions (CIS), participated in the 79th Indian Road Congress (IRC) sessions showcasing ROMDAS Network Survey Vehicle. The IRC was organised in the orange city of Nagpur, Maharashtra between 23-26 November 2018. CIS had established a large stall space at the expo which was inaugurated by none other than Mr Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India.

Mr. Gadkari is familiar with ROMDAS NSV’s since he had flagged off the 2015 World Bank project in India covering more than 3000 Km of National Highways across various Indian states .

Apart from this Secretary PWD, Government of Maharashtra; Secretary PWD Government of Karnataka; Director general Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways; Member Technical National Highways Authority of India and a host of senior officials from various states visited our booth and had discussions with our team on the advantages of NSV.

The Minister of Public Works Department and Finance Minister, Government of Maharashtra also visited the CIS booth.

Neeraj Chawda, MD - CIS also presented to an audience of more than 800 people at the conference on the topic of “Advanced tools for Infrastructure Design and Management”. Besides speaking about CIS’ flagship equipment, the intelligent VMFWD (manufactured in technical collaboration with KUAB), and other road equipment, Neeraj spoke at length about ROMDAS and its services.

Neeraj informed the audience about collecting data using ROMDAS Laser Profilometer, and Transverse Profile Logger, and LCMS system. He also enlightened the audience on how the LCMS technology is used in India and the difference between the 2D and 3D data. The presentation was well received by the audience that was capturing all the key information.
