GPS is used to establish the location of the vehicle using GPS satellites. GPS data can be used to establish the road centre line or referenced to other datasets simultaneously collected by a ROMDAS system. Referencing data with GPS coordinates allows for easy integration with GIS mapping or asset management software.

We offer a range of brands, configurations and accuracies to suit specific requirements and budgets, including sub-meter real-time accuracy worldwide.

All receivers supplied with ROMDAS equipment come complete with vehicle power supplies, magnetic mounted antennae and all necessary cables. Simply let us know your desired GPS accuracy (e.g. sub-meter) when you enquire and we will recommend a suitable receiver.
