As part of Trimble's 'Customer Stories', the article, titled “Light at the End of the Tunnel”, showcases our innovative solution for Gulf Business Development Group (GBDG) to tackle one of the most challenging environments for road asset mapping: long tunnels.

To maintain uninterrupted accuracy during surveys in long tunnels, GBDG 's ROMDAS system was equipped with Trimble Applanix POS LV-220®, a rugged GNSS with high accuracy GPS outputs. This high-performance system offers better accuracy than our current GPS-INS offering, allowing ROMDAS system to collect consistent geospatial data with better GNSS outage performance. The result: better and reliable data continuity, and high-quality deliverables that support safer, smarter infrastructure decisions.
