ROMDAS is now iRAP Class C accredited system
We are excited! ROMDAS system is recently achieved iRAP Class C accreditation. This is the highest accreditation, and ROMDAS now provides a comprehensive and reliable road safety assessment service to clients worldwide.
As every industry expert knows, iRAP (International Road Assessment Programme) is a globally recognized road safety assessment system that rates roads according to their safety features. With the program’s three classes for system configurations, Class C being the highest, road engineers work can reliablely collect the data and accurately assess the roads.
The ROMDAS Class C iRAP system includes advanced technology such as high-resolution cameras for the Video Logging module, sub-meter GPS-INS unit with INS Geometry upgrade and iRAP Dataview software for iRAP coding. This allows road safety engineers to collect and analyse data on a wide range of road features, including road width, surface condition, roadside hazards, and signage. This information can help road safety engineers identify areas of the road that require improvement and develop a plan to make those improvements.
